Assignment #10- Thinking About Peer Review

I think the peer review we do in class was effective by that it gave us a chance to see what other people had to say about the same subject. It gave different viewpoints which were helpful in strengthening our papers. The only way it can be improved is by having more time in the groups. What I think are my strengths as a peer reviewer is that I give good feedback as to how to clarify confusing sentences or paragraphs. My weaknesses as a peer reviewer are that I can be too honest in my reviews. And that I am not specific enough. My ideal peer review process is small group discussions. I feel most comfortable in a small group. Ideas and thoughtful conversations are easy to all. It would be in the early stages of the writing process to make sure that everyone is on the same page. The time could be a little longer.
